I jokingly referred to the new Range Rover Sport project as “the Spork.” As the build-up progressed we realized how true-to-form the jab was: not quite a Range Rover, and not quite a sports car. It wasn’t long before decals showed up at the studio, cut from color-matched Land Rover silver vinyl, and shaped in the outline of that multi-purpose titanium eating utensil. The name stuck.

In practice, the RRS platform surprised us with it’s nimble handling on the trail, and after a select few modifications even did a fair job keeping up with my Discovery.
